Two British nationals - including one female - from the
non-governmental-organization Save the Children were recently kidnapped by a
group of unidentified militants from Ishasha region in Rutshuru territory in
the Democratic Republic of Congo's (DRC') Nord Kivu province, according to
local news reports coming out of DR Congo.

It’s believed the female hostage has since been released unharmed;
however the status of the second individual is unknown.
Neither officials from the DRC nor the UK have commented on the
alleged kidnapping.
