Zambia’s Air force is reaching new heights following an announcement by the United State to launch a first of its kind partnership between the two countries.

Eight members of the US Air Force’s 818th Mobility Support Advisory Squadron (MSAS) traveled to Lusaka, Zambia to engage with 20 select members of the Zambian Air Force.

The mission objectives are to share ideas and train.

The training events allow the department to expand and enhance partner capacity in the African area of responsibility (AOR).

Lt. Col. Pete Larsen, the 818th MSAS commander said, "Zambia is only the first country to be involved. We are already considering other countries that fit into AFAFRICA's (Air Forces Africa) strategic objectives”.
