SPLA tank hits passenger bus in South Sudan

Two people are recovering in hospital following an accident between a SPLA military tank and passenger bus in Juba, South Sudan.

Sources on the ground who witnessed the collision said the tank was on the Gudele road going to Luri while the van was waiting for passengers.

Three soldiers got out of the tank and ran away when the accident happened.

The injured bus passengers were taken to Juba Teaching Hospital for treatment.


Neither the Central Equatoria State traffic police, nor the SPLA have commented.
