Fighting resumes in 2 key state capitals in South Sudan

Fighting has resumed in two key state capitals of South Sudan.

Reports from the ground say fighting is underway south of Bor, Jonglei State, between SPLA and militia forces loyal to renegade leader General Peter Gadet.

Fighting has also broken out again on the outskirts of Malakal, Upper Nile State.

Civilians there are heading back inside the United Nations UNMISS base to seek refuge.
