South Sudan update @ 1100 hours local 22nd December

From Warrior's Rob McKee in Juba:

Any Foreign Nationals that do not need to be in Juba are being advised to go to the airport to be evacuated out of the country.

The U.K is sending is its last evacuation for non-essential staff tomorrow.

It is believed the people staying behind will be key diplomatic and security staff for western diplomatic missions.

U.S Marines have been deployed to the American Embassy to protect both it and U.S citizens.

Whilst Juba is calm, the general feeling on the ground is that fighting will only escalate. All eyes are on the offensive against Bor and possible repercussions.

Ethnic tension remains the highest concern around the country.

Warrior personnel remain on duty and at their posts.
