Five people are reported dead and 20 wounded following an air raid on El Abassiya in the Nuba Mountain region of Southern Kordofan in Sudan.

Sources on the ground claim Sudanese Armed Forces aircraft dropped three bombs near the Dar es Salaam elementary school in Umm Marha village, located in the western part of El Abassiya.
Three children were among those killed.
The wounded were transported to hospital.
Reports further claim the Sudanese air force bombed other areas of Umm Marha and surrounding villages.
