Three
Swedish citizens have disappeared in Tanzania with the police fearing they have
been kidnapped.
The
disappearance has been reported to the police in Sweden and has been classified
as a kidnapping.
The Foreign
Ministry (FM) has also been notified about the case.
"We are
trying to gather as much information as we can on the matter", said FM
spokesperson Anna Ekberg.
The Swedish
police were unwilling to comment on the report.
There is
currently no further information about where in Tanzania the Swedes disappeared
from or what they were doing in the east African country.
