Two suspected Al- Shbaaab fighters are dead
after a shootout with police in Kenya.
Police stopped and engaged four suspects
they had been trailing from Likoni, in Mombasa County.
During the firefight two
suspects were shot and killed, one suspect was arrested and another managed to
escape. One policeman was shot and injured.

Police believe the suspects were
attempting to traverse through the Shimba Hills in order to bypass checkpoints
on the Mombasa – Nairobi Highway.
Police recovered two firearms and three
grenades from the suspects’ vehicle.
