At least 18
people are confirmed dead following an attack by Al-Shabab fighters on the

The Interior

The
attackers stormed the building after a suicide car bomber detonated his vehicle
at the gate opening the way for the gunmen to enter.
The assault
on the walled compound, which also houses two government ministries, is the
latest attack by Al-Shabab.
Analysts say
the terrorist group is becoming increasingly desperate following losses of
major areas previously under their control inside Somalia because of advances
made by African Union troops.
